the tav the tav the tav.
no joke; the tav was mint. the sound was better than expected, there were a lot of people there and we had a good time.
i write this mildly drunk after celebrating with cherry red square and asda crisps: but there is no doubt i am in the correct mood to talk about the evening.
we played to all our friends and even family (russ’ mum and dad) and we’re grateful they all came down and were even nice enough to throw some complements around too!
afterwards, we listened to the ruffcutts and then headed to the garden to play some acoustic songs with friends. mike and hannah from boat to row (www.myspace.com/boattorow) did a dead nice and cheeky meddaly of sixties covers, and then me and my good friend ben gilchrist played some covers to please everyone who was listening. these covers included i want to break free, anyway you want it, and faith. if you weren’t there you missed out.
i had a great time.
why wouldn’t i!?
news this week:
later bitch!
